#20230302 - BSc Nursing 2nd year student from Kanyakumari District

The student is currently in her second year of B.Sc. Nursing. Her father passed away 13 years ago and her mother works as a nurse. The family depends on the mother's monthly salary of Rs. 7,000. The student has twin younger sisters, who are now in Class 12 in a government-aided school. Their grandmother is part of this family of five women. The house that they live in belongs to the grandparent, so they have some relief.

Acquaintances of the family helped with the first-year fees. The student also has a 50% subsidy based on caste quota but has not been successful in getting any additional support or bank loan so far.

After Aalayam's review, we have committed to raising  Rs 45,000.00 towards the fees.
