Our Foundation
We are a team of working professionals around the globe with a passion to help the needy amongst our people. In this endeavour, our singular objective is to build a sustainable and trustworthy online fundraising platform to help the less-privileged students gain access to education.
Our country and people have helped us in some way to get to where we are today. Now, it is time to do our part; time to give back - to invest in the lives of our people to make our country a better place for as many as possible. We are blessed to be where are today and to have the ability to help others. This endeavour is a way of sharing that blessing with others, so that they too may one day be inspired to think and do likewise.

Assist financially underprivileged students to continue or pursue their education in India.
Our Mission
Help under privileged students and educational institutions by raising funds through Aalayam online crowdfunding platform. Review and approve genuine causes and give 100% of the collected funds to the educational institutes or service providers.

Our Way
We operate based on the principles below and we call it the Aalayam Way
- Help financially underprivileged students who are keen to study
- 100% of donations are given to beneficiaries
- Payment made directly to the institute or service provider
- Protect the identity and respect privacy of the beneficiary and the donor
- Donations are collected only for specific causes as and when they rise
- Extensive review process and approval before collecting donations
- Notification to the donors at every step of the cause
- No aggressive or paid marketing
- Operational transparency and volunteer empowerment
- Operational expenses funded by core members

Aalayam Foundation was registered with govt. of Tamilnadu, India on 10th Oct 2013 as charitable trust.
