#20220105 - BSc 2nd Year Anesthesia student from Kanyakumari

This student, in the second year of  2nd Year BSc Anesthesia, is from a single parent family. The mother was working as a caretaker but has been able to work only two days a week of late because of her ill health. The student has a younger brother too.

The total fees for this year is Rs. 1,20,000 plus lab fees of Rs. 9,150. The first year dues have been paid after the mother sought help from various people. However, this year the student has been able to pay only Rs. 40,000, even after asking for support from various acquaintances. The college's Bursar has confirmed to Aalayam that the student had paid the fees last year with the assistance of some people who had come to know of the family's situation.

The student is regular to classes and is good at studies. After review, Aalayam has offered to assist the student with a sum of Rs. 40,000.
