#20161104 - Chennai BSc 1st year student studying Nursing course

Our student is a girl living with her father, mother and elder sister. This beautiful small family is located in Chennai and living in a rented hut where there is no toilet/water facility. Her father is working as painter and earning very little to run this family. Her mother works as a parttime cook in nearby houses to support their girl's education.

Our beneficiary is pursuing her 1st year BSc nursing in Chennai. Recent Chennai flood had heavy affected this family and lost most of their belongings. During review, our volunteers found their living condition is very poor and not very encouraging. But everyone at this family strongly belives only education can change their lifes, so do we!

Through loaning and help from others they were able to pay around Rs.48,000 for the first year fee. College is now forcing them to pay the remaining fee as soon as possible. After our review process, we approve for their remaining tution fees Rs.35000.00.

There is something special about this family and the other family mentioned in cause 20161103. We wanted to share some interesting facts.

Both families are living next to each other and infact they are like joined family taking care of one another like their own. Although there is no common factor other than friendship & neighbor. Their fathers are working together and when they received help from others for their daughter education, they divided equally for their children's education.
