Beneficiary is a 1st year nursing student hails from Walaja Taluk in Vellore district. Her college is also located in the same district. She lives with her father, mother and younger brother. Her younger brother is studying 9th standard in a govt. school in the same village.
Her mother is selling homemade food in the village and that is the primary income of the family. Her father is not supporting the family and doesn't stay home regularly.
This student scored 988/1200 in HSc and 406/500 in SSLC. She also helps her mother while not going to college.
The total tuition fees amount is Rs.75,000 and exam fees is Rs.4800. They were able to pay Rs.34,800 and in addition to that since she is the first graduate of the family Tamilnadu govt. is sponsoring her for Rs.20000. She is in need of balance Rs.25,000. Our volunteers met this student, family and have given confidence that our supporters can help this student to finish her college.
