Beneficiary is a BE (Mech) 2nd year student from Vanganoor village in Thiruvallur district. He lives with his father, mother and elder sister. His sister will be joining BSc this year.
Father is working as kooli in 100 days employment scheme and mother works as weaver for someone in the village.
This student scored 1055/1200 in 12th standard and he go admission in an engineering college in Salem. Knowing his financial condition and with good marks the college waived his tuition fees but asked to pay the hostel fee.
Since they can not afford this fees the parents want this student to drop out of college and work as kooli. Our volunteers met this student, family and have given confidence that our supporters can help this student to finish his college.
